This series is primarily based on ink-wash elements.
After creating the animatic for Vayne, I used her version as the foundation to design the corresponding environments and VFX for the entire series.

The core elements include ink wash, traditional Chinese aesthetics, rock formations, and most importantly,
the concept that all character animations unfold on Chinese rice paper.
In this final design, Vayne stands on the surface of rice paper, and the world around her is a dimensional interpretation of a traditional Chinese ink painting.

In the initial design, I continued the gold-line outlining style from the previous Calligraphia series, resulting in a more stylized overall look.
During later meetings, we decided to shift the focus toward elements that more closely reflect traditional ink painting in reality,
so the gold outlines were removed for the time being. However, this version remains a personal favorite of mine.
