01DESIGN CHALLENGE
For this two week project, I created a small 3D environment scene in Unity.
My goal was to learn the basic Unity workflow, including importing assets, setting up materials and lighting, and building a scene that feels like a location from a game. Since this was my first time working on this kind of 3D map editing, I focused on learning how to create a complete environment with a limited set of assets.

02 VISUAL DIRECTION
For the scene direction, I first used AI to generate a rough reference image.
My idea was to create a small rocky environment with plants growing across the surface and a clear spring nearby. When building the scene, I limited the color palette to three main colors: gray, green, and blue. This helped the overall visual feel more cohesive and easier to read.

03 ENVIRONMENT BUILDING
To make the scene feel more complete, I added extra elements such as sculptures, glowing mechanisms, bridges, rocks, and plants.
These details helped enrich the environment and gave the map more of a sense of story. My goal was to make the scene feel like a location that could naturally appear in a game, rather than just a collection of assets placed together.

04 FINAL THOUGHTS
Through this project, I learned that building a rich environment with a limited set of assets requires more planning than I expected.
I had to think about composition, scale, color, lighting, and how each object helped support the overall scene.
Although this was a short exploration, it helped me better understand the basic Unity workflow and how environment design works in a real time 3D space.
